Dr. Tony Wang completed his MD, residency in Rural Family Medicine, and fellowship in Emergency Medicine from the University of Toronto. He works as an ER physician at Humber River Hospital, where he also serves as Co-Lead for Medical Education.
His work allows him to appreciate the intimate relationship between care in the ER and timely hyperbaric therapy in patients with a variety of medical conditions including sudden sensorineural hearing loss, diabetic foot ulcers, and beyond.
Dr. Wang is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada with added competency in emergency medicine (CCFP-EM) and completed the Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine in 2025. He holds academic appointments as a Lecturer in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University.
