Biography

Dr. Seema Agarwal obtained her MD from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University and completed her Family Medicine residency at North York General Hospital through the University of Toronto. Her clinical practice is varied: alongside her hyperbaric medicine work, she provides palliative care through the NYGH Freeman Outreach Team and performs surgical assistance in Orthopedics at Humber River Hospital.

Dr. Agarwal completed the UHMS Program for Advanced Training in Hyperbaric Medicine (PATH) and holds the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hyperbaric Medicine (CAQ-HP). She is particularly focused on providing access to HBOT for the OHIP-covered indications, including idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss, chronic non-healing wounds, delayed radiation injury, and post-radiation cystitis and proctitis.

As Chief Medical Officer, Evolve Hyperbarics, Dr. Agarwal oversees clinical standards across the Evolve network, including protocol development, physician onboarding, ongoing peer review, and quality assurance.
