Dr. Kishan Shani is a hyperbaric physician with Evolve Hyperbarics, practicing at our Champagne (North York) and York clinics. He brings an emergency medicine background to hyperbaric care.
Dr. Shani earned his MD from the University of Toronto in 2018 and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto in 2020, followed by a fellowship in emergency medicine through the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University from 2020 to 2021. He is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada with added competency in emergency medicine (CCFP-EM). He completed the Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine in 2024.
In two years of HBOT practice, Dr. Shani has supervised between 1,000 and 5,000 hyperbaric treatments. He also practices emergency medicine at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital (Humber) and serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is passionate about providing hyperbaric medicine to patients with delayed radiation injury, non-healing post-surgical wounds, and chronic non-healing wounds.
