Biography

Dr. Josiah Fan is a hyperbaric physician with Evolve Hyperbarics, practicing at our Brampton, Champagne (North York), and York clinics. He brings a family medicine and emergency medicine background to hyperbaric care.

Dr. Fan earned his MD from Western University in 2016 and completed his residency in family medicine at Western University in 2018, followed by an Emergency Medicine fellowship at Western University in 2019. He is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada with added competency in emergency medicine (CCFP-EM). He completed the Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine in 2025.

Dr. Fan also practices emergency medicine at Scarborough Health Network. He sees patients in English and Cantonese. He is dedicated to providing safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients with hyperbaric medicine, with clinical interests including chronic and non-healing wounds, idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss, and other conditions where HBOT has demonstrated benefit.
