Dr. Jamie Van der Ham is the Medical Director at Evolve Hyperbarics — Brampton and a Hyperbaric Physician. He brings a family medicine background and a special interest in dermatology and wound management to hyperbaric care.
Dr. Van der Ham earned his MBChB from the University of Dundee in 2013 and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto in 2018. He is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP). He completed the Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine in 2023.
Dr. Van der Ham has obtained an additional diploma in dermatology from the University of Cardiff, Wales, which is where he developed a particular interest in wound management — including the use of hyperbaric oxygen. He maintains a cradle-to-grave family medicine practice at the Orangeville Family Medicine Clinic.
